Purpletop Vervain is native to South America. It has tall, nearly leafless branches and clusters of purple flowers. It is outstanding in beds and borders and pairs well with bright yellow and white flowers. It is easy to grow and long blooming. Attracts butterflies such as monarchs, swallowtails and fritillaries. Recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit for reliable performance in the garden.
