Bigflower Cinquefoil is a perennial wildflower which is found in the Rocky Mountains from NM to MT and west to OR and ID. It is particularly abundant in CO and WY where it grows in dry meadows, rocky slopes and roadsides. Plants are compact and leafy, producing abundant yellow flowers in late spring and early summer. Native bees and flies are frequent visitors, making this species ideal for high elevation pollinator plantings.
