Hoary Vervain is a short-lived, native Verbena which can be found in southeast Canada as well as the eastern and central U.S. It can be found in meadows, prairies, roadsides and other sunny sites. Hoary Vervain has light purple flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators. Host plant for the common buckeye butterfly. Easy to grow and thrives in dry conditions.
